Hello and Welcome

I believe individuals seek therapy to resolve challenging life events, painful relationships, and suffering. Because of this, I feel deeply privileged that my clients welcome me into this conversation. It is my goal to help you accept your pain and lead you to become more intimate with yourself and others. My practice aims to help my clients find authenticity and learn healthy coping behaviors to balance life's joy and suffering. I am collaborative, empathic and driven. I believe in utilizing client strengths and internal wisdom to help them create the life they want to live.

I specialize in guiding my clients through healing from past trauma and recognizing patterns of coping including addictive, avoiding, compulsive, aggressive, and controlling behaviors. Our work will focus on turning doubt and pain into acceptance and self-love so that you can become the person you are meant to be.

My approach is eclectic and I incorporate multiple therapy models depending upon client need. I also use EMDR for treating trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, complicated grief, disturbing memories, phobias, pain disorders, stress reduction, personality disorders, and sexual/physical abuse.

I work with individuals and couples ages 18 and up, specializing in life stage transitions and adjustments (e.g., university, mid-life, post-divorce, and recovery), identity and self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
